About Jackie

Welcome! I am a Life Coach and Ceremonialist dedicated to creating space for self-discovery, restoration (with self and mother nature), and intentional living.
For me, the natural world isn’t just a faraway destination; it includes our urban landscapes and city life. Nature mirrors to us every day that all of life moves in cycles. It is right here—whether I am sitting on park bench listening to a bird, looking at a beautiful flower, or looking up at the sky. Surrounded by this more-than-human world, I feel most deeply connected to the universal energy of all life.
Guided by this connection, I began weaving earth-based practices into my daily life—intentionally connecting with the land and creating rituals and ceremonies to anchor myself to the sacredness within and around me. When I experienced a medical crisis several years ago that left me homebound and unable to walk for several months, this connection and these practices held and anchored me when there were no words to fully capture the pain, fear, loss, and grief I was living through.
My personal practice is rooted in my lived experience and Andean values of social harmony, balance with nature, and the sacred practice of reciprocity and right relationship. Driven by curiosity and passion for learning, I completed formal training in Ceremony, Ritual, and Rites of Passage through Nature Knows and the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute. I also lean into a beautiful piece of wisdom shared with me by an Elder Abuela Curandera regarding the Spanish word for ceremony: if you break down the sound of the word ceremonia, you find two hidden words—ser (to be) and armonía (harmony). At its very core, ceremony simply means "to be in harmony."
I view ceremony and ritual, as powerful, restorative anchors that invite us to slow down, rest in the present moment, and deeply listen to nature and to our hearts, bodies, and minds as a way to honor what is within the many seasons and cycles of life. These intentional practices create a supportive container to honor the past, heal the present, and welcome what comes next. I love supporting people in exploring and finding ways of to practice ritual and ceremony in personally relevant and meaningful ways that honor their beliefs, lineage, and lived experience.
In a world that rarely asks us to pause, choosing to witness your own life changes and transitions is a profound act of self-leadership. Whether you are navigating a medical crisis, a career shift, or a season of quiet transformation, your experiences deserve to be honored. Together, we can create an intentional space right where you are—in the heart of the city or the quiet of nature—to honor your story, reclaim a deeper sense of belonging, authenticity, and aliveness to step forward with clarity.
If you are ready to honor your past, present, or future, reach out today to begin co-creating your ceremony or ritual.
My relationship with ceremony and ritual began early, rooted in the conservative religious family of my childhood. As I grew and stepped into my own path, I realized that organized religion wasn’t the right fit for me. Instead, by listening closely to my own inner knowing, I found my true sanctuary in the natural world.
My work is rooted in a central belief: tending to yourself is sacred work. With over 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I know firsthand that honoring our life experiences is absolutely essential—whether they bring fear, grief, anger, joy, or gratitude.
In a world that demands constant productivity, prioritizing your well-being is not a luxury. It is a vital, ongoing practice of self-leadership. Honoring our own major milestones isn’t just personal work; it’s peace work, because it ripples out and naturally expands our capacity to support, protect, and be of service to our world around us.
